How this site is written and reviewed
Written by the Delight Dermatology editorial team · Medically reviewed by Lead Dermatologist, Delight Dermatology Clinic (Korean Board-Certified Dermatologist, AAD International Fellow, ASLMS) · Last reviewedEvery clinical page here is medically reviewed before publication by a Korean Board-Certified Dermatologist who is an International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, with membership in nine Korean dermatology societies and a prior post as senior dermatologist at Banobagi. Reviewer credentials are published because a medical page a reader is asked to trust should say who checked it. Pages are drafted by the editorial team of Delight Dermatology Clinic, Gangnam, Seoul (medical institution registration 357-15-02460), which operates this site.

Credentials
- Korean Board-Certified Dermatologist. Specialist board certification recognised by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Republic of Korea. In Korea this is a distinct qualification from a general medical licence, and it is the one worth checking when comparing clinics.
- AAD International Fellow. International fellowship of the American Academy of Dermatology.
- ASLMS member. American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the principal professional body for energy-based device medicine.
- Member of nine Korean dermatology societies. Continuing engagement across the Korean dermatology, laser and cosmetic society landscape.
- Former senior dermatologist at Banobagi. High-volume cosmetic dermatology background prior to the current practice.
- Medical institution registration 357-15-02460. Formal Korean health-authority registration of the clinic.
The editorial process
Pages are drafted by the clinic's editorial team and medically reviewed against the credentials above before publication. Clinical statements are referenced to peer-reviewed sources with PubMed identifiers, and where an author group includes employees of the device manufacturer, that affiliation is disclosed in the reference entry rather than left for the reader to discover. Review and editorial-update dates are recorded per page from a single dated source, so a date on this site marks something that actually happened rather than the day the site was last deployed.
Claims this practice does not make
A credentials page is more informative for what it declines to say. On this site you will not find:
- Superlatives. No "best", "number one" or "world-class". Korean medical advertising regulation restricts comparative superlatives, and they carry no clinical information in any case.
- "Guaranteed" or "permanent" results. No published evidence supports permanence for non-surgical tightening, and individual response to a collagen-remodelling treatment cannot be guaranteed.
- Before-and-after photographs of identifiable patients. Not used on this site.
- Clearances the device does not hold. FDA clearances are stated with their indication and year; anything else is described as off-label.
- Head-to-head superiority over other devices. No randomised trial compares Sofwave with Ultherapy, so this site does not claim a winner.
- Manufacturer affiliation. This is an independent clinic site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sofwave Medical Ltd.
Scope of this site
This is a specialty information site covering one treatment. General dermatology services, other procedures and the clinic's full menu are at hifuseoul.com, which operates this site. Nothing here is a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation for an individual: candidacy, treatment areas and pulse count are determined at an in-person examination.
